Since 2013, Paris Pick, affectionately dubbed the ‘Yacht-Pop Princess’ has made nothing but waves with her signature brand of alt-yacht-pop-rock music. Originally hailing from Whitehorse, Yukon, and now smooth sailing her way back into the stunning landscapes of British Columbia (where she was born), Pick continues to build her musical empire.
Over the past decade, Pick has toured extensively and has performed at acclaimed showcases such as BreakOut West, Liverpool Sound City (UK), POP Montreal, Focus Wales (UK) and as of 2026, Tallinn Music Week (EU). With her unmistakable voice, fearless fashion, and catalogue full of shimmering songs about life, love, growth, and heartache, Pick blends crunchy-cute guitar with breezy mid-’70s vocal melodies and hooks that leave audiences swooning long after the show is over. It’s safe to say she’s successfully carved out a niche of her own.
In her career so far, Pick has opened for Canadian artists such as Yukon Blonde, Apollo Suns, Brass Camel, Jennifer Castle and Wax Mannequin to name a few and has recieved praise from Canadian media personalities, George Strombo of The Strombo Show as well as Ed the Sock from Much Music. In August 2025, Pick was featured on Exclaim!’s NEW FAVES: Hottest Canadian Artists You Need to Hear Right Now list. Previously, in 2022, Pick earned a spot in CBC Music’s Toyota Searchlight: Top 100 Artists list.
Bria Rose N’ Thorns
On the wings of the north wind, Bria Rose N’ Thorns (BRNT) disrupt stillness with soulful warmth. Their uplifting yet gritty sound, anchored by rich alto depth, bridges emotion and power with unflinching authenticity. BRNT deliver their resonating Rock sound with electric energy and raw vulnerability. The Whitehorse, Yukon based band released their debut 6 song EP titled Sprout in 2024. On April 30th 2026 BRNT released Rainbow, the first single from their upcoming full-length album, Bloom, set to release February 2027.
Over the last couple years Bria Rose N’ Thorns dove head first into the music scene with standout performances such as: opening for Tom Cochrane, opening for 54-40, showcases at Iceland Airwaves (Reykjavik), Reeperbahn Festival (Hamburg), Break Out West (Winnipeg), and the International Indigenous Music Summit (Toronto). The group also brought their fire to national events like Atlin Arts & Music Festival, Women In Music Canada & Sirius XM Canada’s EQLive series, Edmonton Fringe Festival, and Blue Feather Music Festival to name a few. BRNT is a well-oiled four-piece machine that creates moments to let loose and moments to cry happy tears with a force suitable for the universe.
