Ari Neufeld
Ari Neufeld is a Canadian singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and self-made one-man band whose energetic performances are anything but ordinary. A longtime Okanagan musician, Ari has spent years developing a unique approach to live music that combines guitar, piano, banjo, vocals and an array of percussive sounds, creating the feel of a full band with just one performer.
Ari describes his genre-bending style as “Full Contact Folk” — a lively blend of folk, pop, new country, rhythmic soul and rock, brought together with plenty of beat, melody, humour and heart. His performances are highly physical and wonderfully unpredictable, with Ari using instruments, percussion and even his own body to create rhythm and sound.
With hundreds of performances throughout British Columbia and beyond, Ari has built a reputation for connecting with audiences through music that is inventive, joyful and full of energy.
