Get ready for a high-energy night with Quickness, a Fraser Valley alternative punk rock band known for legendary live performances, big sing-alongs and a whole lot of crowd interaction.
One minute you’re bouncing along to a punk rock anthem, the next the band has stripped things back with an acoustic guitar, shifted into a reggae groove, or got the whole room dancing and singing together. Their shows are all about creating a fun, welcoming atmosphere where everyone is part of the experience.
Formed in 2009, Quickness has performed approximately 800 shows across Canada, released three full-length albums and numerous music videos, and built a reputation for bringing their energetic live show to festivals, concerts and special events. The band performs a mix of original music and favourite covers, with a repertoire designed to keep audiences engaged from start to finish.
Quickness and frontman Jacob Dryden are recipients of six international radio awards from the New York International Radio Awards, with the band also receiving multiple editorial Top 10 album nominations. In 2026, Quickness was named Punk/Metal Artist of the Year at the Fraser Valley Music Awards.
Their music continues to receive radio play across Canada. The latest single, “Sleepless Nights,” was released in June 2025 and has been in rotation on FM radio stations across the country. Previous singles “Paradise” and “Daydream” have also received airplay on stations including Vancouver’s Evolution 107.9 and 102.7 The Peak.
With appearances ranging from festivals and major concerts to live television, motion pictures, halftime performances and made-for-TV productions, Quickness brings plenty of experience to the stage—and they know how to put on a show.
