Joe Rotundo

Joe Rotundo is a Canadian surf guitarist based out of Vancouver, BC where he tours and plays with various bands including The Interstellar Riders and The Coastal Comets. Joe stands out in the Canadian West Coast music scene with a distinctive surf sound that resonates with his fellow musicians and music lovers alike. Whether it’s an intimate venue or a large festival, Rotundo’s energy and stage presence leave a lasting impression. Playing professionally since the mid 90’s, he cites his main influences as Link Wray, The Ventures, Dick Dale and Buddy Holly.

Interstellar Riders

Interstellar Riders (Vancouver, Canada) are a surf rock band that burst onto the scene in Nov 2023 with the release of their self-titled debut EP. Their sound and live shows are rooted in reverb-drenched rock ‘n’ roll that blends surf instrumental music with scfi-psychedelic garage rock themes. Everything from Link Wray to Shadowy Men with sonic fury & space echo twang! This is a high energy band with driving rhythms, twangy melodies and surfy tremolo-picked guitar. The enigmatic trio features Joe Rotundo (guitar), Jeremy Holmes (bass) and Todd Biffard (drums).
