Pigat, often called the “Motorhead of Rockabilly” by fans in Europe, is widely regarded as one of Canada’s most versatile and accomplished guitarists. Influenced by legends such as Les Paul, T-Bone Walker, Bob Wills, Danny Gatton, Link Wray, Charlie Christian, and Lemmy, his playing bridges genres with effortless authority. A longtime Gretsch Guitars endorsee and clinician, Pigat’s work has been featured in Guitar World, Guitar Player, Vintage Guitar, and Fretboard Journal, as well as in film and television, including The Last of Us and the movie Sausage Party. When he’s not playing guitars, he’s often building them.
Beyond Cousin Harley, Pigat has collaborated with an impressive range of artists, including Neko Case, Jakob Dylan, Jim Byrnes, Michael Kaeshammer, and Kevin Breit.
