Songwriter Acoustic Invitational Jam is a curated evening celebrating some of the Okanagan’s finest local songwriters. Featuring invited artists performing original music in an intimate, acoustic setting, this showcase highlights the stories, songs, and voices that make our local music scene so special.  The evening is hosted by the fabulous Lisa Dunn.

Lisa Dunn

Lisa Dunn commands the attention of audiences with her spellbinding, powerhouse vocals and ability to translate the emotional intention of a song when she sings.

Whether you want to groove to a high energy, party song with your girlfriends in the car, get close to someone on the dancefloor with a throwback 90s club vibe or get nostalgic to music that takes you back to the days of the soul singers of Motown, Lisa Dunn can deliver. She has been compared to some of the greats in pop and R&B including Adele, Amy Winehouse, Etta James, Donna Summer and Roberta Flack.

After moving from the lower mainland to the Okanagan, she has been performing regularly with The Ray Roper Collective and is also a member of LIPS: The Ultimate Rolling Stones Tribute, the Pink Floyd Tribute: Lunatics on the Grass and Adele Tribute: This is Adele, starring Amanda Bentley.  “they have in their midst a real jewel on vocals, a lady who can really deliver on all fronts as a vocalist.” – Merv Osborne, Blues Matters Magazine, UK
